Field Tech

Job Summary

Tec-Tel offers around-the-clock service, troubleshooting and maintenance. Customer Service is the hallmark of Tec-Tel and therefore qualified candidates shall be responsible for delivering Best in Class service to our valued customers and providing technical support for Tec-Tel robust suite of Voice, Data, and Managed Services products.

Candidates should have flexibility in scheduling as we handle inbound inquiries for our base 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We provide remote and onsite technical support to customers, with focus on a quick and concise resolution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • 1 to 4+ Years Customer Service     experience (depending on level)
  • Ability to pay close attention     to detail while performing technically detailed tasks
  • Ability to deal effectively     with stressful situations
  • Self-motivated with the ability     to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills     including phone manner, written communication and client-care
  • Ability to articulate technical     information clearly and simply to non-technical people
  • Enjoys helping people to the     extent that no problem is considered mundane, no matter how simple the solution
  • Is self-motivated and can be     self-directed when necessary
  • Enjoys sharing information,     supporting others, and working on a team to achieve team goals

Qualifcations

  • 5 years field experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid and clean drivers license
  • Job Type: Full-time
